This project came about after I stumbled upon a collection of DVDs and started playing with them. They create magnificent prisms, and I wanted to see what it would look like for the discs to bounce light off of each other. Unfortunately for me, DVDs are round and do not meet each other at a specified line. I softened the discs in boiling water and cut them into squares, then I could assemble them into a box. The discs react to light of different hues and intensities.
